If you were to find the product of (x + 5)^2 would it be x^2 + 25 or x^2 - 25?...I narrowed it down to these two but im not sure if I am supposed to change the sign.

OpenStudy (kamille):

it will be none of them. use a formula\[(a+b)=a ^{2}+2ab+b ^{2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

these were the answers they gave me: x^2 − 10x + 25 x^2 − 25 x^2 + 25 x^2 + 10x + 25

OpenStudy (kamille):

a=x b=5 now use a formula, which I gave you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be the last one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Kamille the formula only works for difference of two squares
