To accelerate your car at a constant acceleration, the car's engine must: A)develop ever-decreasing power B)Maintain constant turning speed C)develop ever increasing power D)maintain a constant power output
@JFraser
both B and D make sense
lol i figured that much because they say maintain but idk where to go from there
B is uniform circular motion where you'd have a constant centripetal acceleration and no tangential component
D says constant power -> from engine
B is not for the engine!!!!!! so D is the answer!
"B" is the case for the entire car.
I don't understand that at all
in "B", the turning speed -> is for what? the car? -> then this is not the cause, it is the effect. the cause for const acc is that the engine is providing a constant power output
what is turning speed?
if the car is taking a turn, then the speed at which it does this turning is the turning speed of the car!
electric motors and generators have a turning speed. but a car in general would be "gas"
oh lol that sounds legit
electro is absolutely right................constant Power is the answer coz: P=Fdv If P constant then F constant then accelration constant.
acceleration*
ok thanks a lot you guys
