this can be written in expanded form as \[4^3 \times x^3 \times(y^2)^3 \times x^5 \times y^5\] the 2 index laws you need to use are 1. Multiplying the same base, add the powers. \[x^a \times x^b = x^{a + b}\] 2. Power of a power... multiply the powers \[(x^a)^b = x^{a \times b}\] and 4^3 can be evaluated hope this helps.
