Can somebody tell me what this means?

I get it a lot while trying to build programs in C++ using Visual Studio 2010 and I don't even know what it means.

It means you've edited your code while it's running (in debug mode) and it's trying to change it and keep running.

You should stop running your program before you compile. Shift+F5 will do this.

Ok how would I know if the program is running or not? How do I determine that?
