If the radius of a sphere is increasing at the rate of 2 inches per second, how fast, in cubic inches per second, is the volume increasing when the radius is 10 inches? calculus help anyone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know an equation for this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

make that \[V=\frac{2}{3}\pi r^3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take the derivative , get \[V'=2\pi r^2 r'\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are told \(r'=2\) and that \(r=10\) so you can find \(V'\) by substituting the numbers
