I actually think it is the Bermuda Triangle. I could be wrong, but there isn't any scientific proof regarding the various myths surrounding it, are there?
The abundance of Carbon and its properties in the Universe are what gave rise to the emergent complexities found in living organisms like humans. Of course, in addition to the presence of water; SETI is a project spearheaded by the United States in belief that we may have other life forms in other parts of the cosmos. Carl Sagan, the late American Astrophysicist, spoke a lot about his support in getting it funded by the US government.
watch the Sagan files on youtube :) they're old, but very informative
Evolution is true as it can get. This theory has withstood all test that were meant for it to be disproved. It is a very simple idea, but a very powerful mechanism that explains the similarities and differences among species.
