I need some help smoothing out this paragraph: the classroom, scientific argumentation is typically done following an investigation. Both written and verbal forms of argumentation are utilized. This practice gives students the opportunity to defend the results they have observed and hopefully gain a better understanding of science concepts. This activity is also a key component to inquiry and constructivist-style activities. The students are asked to discover their own ideas and be able to support them to make sense of the concepts in an individual way.
