OpenStudy (nincompoop):

Is SCIENTIFIC METHOD inductive reasoning?

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

i didn't get you!!!

OpenStudy (jfraser):

predominantly, yes. scientific questioning seeks to draw general propositions from specific examples, provided that some degree of support follows it.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

I agree that the scientific method is inherently inductive reasoning.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it's true that scientific method is inductive in reasoning because it lead us to a perfect conclusion after asking as much as questions possible.

OpenStudy (jfraser):

^the "perfect" conclusion doesn't actually exist. IMO, the best defense of science is given by feynmann http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1dgrvlWML4
