what is the formula for a rectangular prism when trying to find the volume?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For any regular prism the volume is the area of the end multiplied by the length.

bfsgd answered first. sorrrryyyy.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so look my math problem is find the volume of a rectangualr prism? what do i do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

using 3.14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the area of the end. Say its a square then the area of the end is its width times its height. Then multiply that by the length of the prism.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You won't need the value of pi for a rectangular prism.

5m by 3m h=6 so i would multiply 5*3=15*6=90? is this right?
