how do you know if your suppose to cube a number when trying to find the volume?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you have a cube with side \(a\) then the volume is \(a^3\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^When you have a CUBE? ahahahaha ^.^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because cubing means having three measurements squared, so for instance if ur measuring a cube u would measure length * width * height which is three measurements

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so when you use three measurments you use cube?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mhm and when theres 4 measurements you make it to the 4th power
