Well, if you rearrange, you'll find
-4y = 4x + 7
3y = 4x + 7

If you subtract the two equations
-7y = 0
y = 0

In Math... there are millions of close answers, and everyone of them is just as wrong as the other :)

so 4x and -4x would be -4 and for x 3

Eliminate y
multiply (1)by 4
Multiply (2) by 3
-16 x 12 y = 28
-12 x -12 y = 84
Add the two equations
-28 x = 112
/ -28
x = -4
plug value of x in (1)
-4 x + 3 y = 7
16 + 3 y = 7
3 y = 7 -16
3 y = -9
y = -3
