A car starts from rest and accelerates at 32 ft/s^2. The car door is open (90 degrees from the closed position). Assume the door is uniform a rectangle, 4ft high by 3ft wide and weighs 30 lbs. How long will it take for the door to close? I think this is a torque question but I'm not quite sure. I'm not looking for a solution but just some pointers if you know the right direction to go in this problem.
