Am I correct on my translations? And is there anything I can fix to make it better? Thank you :)
1. Cuanto mides? = How tall are you? I am (I measure) 5 feet 7 inches. = Mido cinco pies y 7 pulgadas. 2. Caminas una milla a la escuela cada dia? = Do you walk a mile to school every day? No, I do not walk a mile to school every day. = No, no caminar una milla a la escuela todos los dias. 3. Es este libro tuyo? = Is this your book? Yes, this is my book. = Si, este es mi libro. 4. De que color es esa casa? = What color is that house? That house is the color blue. = La casa es el color azul. 5. Que te gusta mas, esta camisa o esa? = What do you like more, this shirt or that one? I like this shirt more than the other one with the buttons. = Me gusta esta camisa mas que uno con los botones. Okay, are those correct? :) The stuff on the left hand side of the = sign is what I'm translating... Spanish Question=English translation, English answer to the question=Spanish translation :) Sorry if it's kinda weird and confusing... If it's hard to get what I mean, just let me know and I will explain it more! Hahaha I totally get that I made it kinda funny looking. :P Do they look right to you? And is there anything I need to fix or can fix to make it more grammatically correct? Thanks a bunch! I appreciate your help! :)
@InYourHead, can you please help me? :)
They are correct, for the most part. ~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm looking at #2. There's one sentence I would correct, there. This is what you wrote: "No, no caminar una milla a la escuela todos los dias." We SHOULD say... "No, no CAMINO una milla a la escuela todos los dias." We have to change "caminar" to "camino." Because CAMINO means "I WALK."
okay!! But everything else is correct? :)
Yes.
awesome, thanks!
De nada. You're welcome.
