16. Write the resultant of the two vectors as an ordered pair. <3, 6> and <5, –5> (2 points)
vector addition is as v=<a,b> w=<c,d> v + w = <a+c,b+d>
@jdoe0001 Im just really confused and need help
well, is very straightforward :|
what part is confusing you?
is that all i write for the answer?
vector addition is as v=<a,b> w=<c,d> v + w = <a+c,b+d> and what you have is <3, 6> and <5, –5>
the resultant I gather is meant to be the addition of both
im still confused @jdoe0001 what am i supposed to write
what is the result?
you're supposed to add those 2 vectors, the result is the addition of both as shown above :)
help me please
what vectors tho? Ive never done any sort of problem like this so I honestly have no clue what to do
@jdoe0001
so, what part of -> VECTOR1=<a,b> VECTOR2=<c,d> VECTOR1 + VECTOR2 = <a+c,b+d> is confusing you? the answer is from the <a+c,b+d> part, just add them up :|
well, if you haven't done any vectors before, it seems to me you may be reading the wrong book for your class, or your teacher haven't covered it and should have already
im only in pre algebra! I was just doing this a a challenge option for extra work! :(
understood :|, then you may want to get a good book on vectors :)
