This site is lucky that some of us enjoy math so much that we're willing to put in hours here for free.
But it offers no incentive for more dedicated involvment .
I wonder what would happen if all decided not to return !

The users should use the BEST RESPONSE and the FAN button more often. IT gets the helper more motivated to help. We help out for free, so at least they should give us a medal for our work, don't you agree? Its my opinion though :)

I totally agree, and I also I would suggest that users be given the option of hiring a 1 on 1 tutor

We have played with the idea of hiring 1 on 1 tutoring. Details such as exchange rates have been proven difficult, as well as ethical discussions of whether the 'open' in 'openstudy' would then be 'open' in the same sense that the U.S. university system is open to anyone - can come up with the cash in hand to participate.

That said, I agree that much more could be done for dedicated users. Some of my suggestions will follow, tomorrow. I apologize for the delay, but am very busy with some professional deadlines tonight.

we should all give suggestions, there are instances when there actually is a happy medium, and I believe this can be 1 of them

It is a terribly slow climb...view a SmartScore 100 profile and look at the medal count, fan count, testimonial count, days studied...
