The constitution does not mention anything about political parties, they did not exist at the time of writing. George Washington did not approve of political parties, he was openly against them. Now make your answer selection :)

well C would be because The Constitution makes no mention of political parties or their role in policymaking. [ George Washington encouraged people to form political parties at the federal level. but B would be because The Constitution indeed makes no mention of political parties, which makes the first choice wrong and the second right. Washington explicitly warned Americans *against* forming political parties in his Farewell Address, which makes both the last two choices wrong. im not sure which you agree with but if this help please pass a medal

@michaelc96 You contradicted yourself. C cannot be correct because Washington was against the formation of political parties. The answer is B.
