Which of these facts is used to prove that triangle PTR is similar to triangle QTS Line segment RT is congruent to line segment TS because corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent. Line segment PR is congruent to line segment SQ because parallel segments are congruent. Angle PTR is congruent to angle QTS because they are vertical angles. Angle PRT is congruent to angle QST because they are vertical angles.

help @e.mccormick ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only one of these four statements is true, anyway ^.^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I suck at this @PeterPan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, we only care about similarity of triangles, so since we're not given any side-lengths, is must be the angles that are important. You can cross out the first two choices now ^.^ (And they're false, anyway)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it the 3rd one ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah :D

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Hehe. Ad if the last two are the same....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thank you @PeterPan and their not @e.mccormick one is PTR and the other is PRT

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have a couple more

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Argh. I hate those. Dyslexic. They look the same to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3rd one is correct! ^_^
