b) If you have a rectangular rug whose perimeter is 26 feet and the length is three feet more than the width, what are the dimensions of the rug? (P=2w+2l)

You should know that the perimeter is the measure of all four sides. Su you have both the longs and both the shorts all together is 26. They are also telling you that the long and the short are differnt by three feet. That lets you make a system of equations. Ever solved systems like that?
