1/2x^2+7/2x+5. a. Factor this expression completely. b. Let x = 3. What is the area?

Start with the annoying constant term: ½(x^2 + 7x = 10) You need to see where all that came from. "area"? Is there a drawing or some other clue?

sorry, the equation at the beginning was the area. it just needs to be simplified
