The letters in the word Paris are written on slips of paper and placed in a bag. Each letter will be put back after it is drawn. What is P(r, then vowel)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. 1/5 B. 2/5 C. 3/5 D. 2/25

OpenStudy (andriod09):

the P(R) would be 1/5, as there is only one R is Paris, and the P(A Vowel) would be 2/5 because of the fact there is an A and an I in Paris, so what you would do next is combine them, making 1/5 and 2/5 into 3/5. Hope this helps!
