are there any micro organisms which can communicate with each other.
of course bacteria, fungi, protozarian and yeast can communicate with each other
humans use Electro magnetic radiation to communicate. what form is used by micro organisms to communicate.
im sorry if I confused you. what I actually meant is what kind of media is used by them for communication.
their use chemical signals to communicate
can you please explain me some characteristics of chemical signals and their working process. Like momentum of electrons or photons etc..
I will answer for @LFDV_nico (he's sitting beside me and we are talking about this so this is like he's answering too). Basically, some micro-organisms release substances such as specific molecules that they secrete. Their companions and themselves have receptors to those substances and the molecules bound to those receptors. What happens after is a matter of electronic potential for some micro-organisms. In fatc, it depends on what kind of receptors we are talking about, but the molecules that are entering the new micro-organisms (we are going to call them "A molecules") can match the shape of a protein or another molecule (the "B" one). When A bounds to B, B gets a new shape and its bounds are reorganized : they form together a complex. After the reorganisation, some parts of B are now useless or cost too much energy to B to keep its new shape, so they leave B and are capted by other molecules. It can last long like that, with parts of differents molecules going from complex to complex. And this is actually much more complicated than that, but if you got this explanation, it's great. Finally, after the different reactions, a final product is created and serves to complete a mechanism, to take part in it and to achieve a goal in the micro-organism. This goal will b what we interprete as the reception of the message from the first micro-organism.
