As one who lived throyugh the McCarthy era, I can tell you that the type of propaganda this vile scumbag disseminated was called "demonization".

But within the limitations of your answer list, I see 2 that could fit the bill. He did use "namecalling", and he also browbeat the citizenry into jumping on the bandwagon to support his quest.

He politically and socially crucified "plain folks", so that wouldn't be a propaganda "technique".

I suppose if push came to shove, I would have to choose "bandwagon" as the answer here.
