What is the missing step in the given solution to the inequality -x - 3 < 13 + 3x. -x - 3 < 13 + 3x -4x < 16 x > -4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looks like two steps are missing, subtracting \(3x\) from both sides, and adding \(3\) to both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which i have to say is a rather foolish way to do the problem

Thanks :)
