Grade 12 math: rates of change in exponential/logarithmic function For 500g of a radioactive substance with a half life of 5.2hours, the amount remaining is given by the formula M(t) = 500(0.5)^(t/5.2). What is the instantaneous rate of change at 1 day? answer: -0.111 g/h I don't get why the answer is this.. Can someone explain?
