( cos theta - cot theta ) / 1- sin theta = - cot theta
prove the identity.. i'm having troubling making the LS equal the RS

write cot = cos / sin in LS
then you can factor out cos theta from numerator.

then you can write (sin theta -1) as -(1-sin theta)
and cancel out (1-sin theta) from numerator and denominator to get RS easily.
