Cellular respiration is a series of complicated reactions. Some of the enzymes that are necessary for the reactions to take place effectively are not produced by the body and must be eaten in a person’s diet. Which answer correctly explains what happens when a person's diet lacks the necessary enzymes for cellular respiration? The production of ATP will increase as the enzyme decreases. The cellular respiration reactions will use another available enzyme. The cellular respiration reaction rate that uses the missing enzyme will increase. The cell's energy level will diminish as the enzyme decreases.

plz help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hi MagaliH sorry to bother you again but do you think you could help me :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cellular respiration requires the enzymes to catalyze (lower the activation energy) the reactions. Without these, the reactions can still take place, they will just be extremely slow. Without the enzymes, ATP will be produced very slowly. ATP is the source of energy in the body, so without ATP, the organism will be very low on energy.

Sorry for being late. To me this is the last possibility, as @maud101 just said :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok so the answer to the question is (The production of ATP will increase as the enzyme decreases)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, it has to do with less ATP, which will result in less energy in the cell.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, the cell's energy level will decrease. The organism needs ATP to work well. If the ATP synthesis does not occur because of a lack of the correspondant enzyme, there will be no ATP, so the organism's energy will be lower.

oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok i know the answer its D because like you guys said it will decrease and so on rigth
