the question is not clear at all. I guess, If your problem is \[n^2 +1\], the first three terms are 1,2,5 if it is 2n+1 the first three terms are 1,3,5 check which is yours.

I guess u are wrong because the domain of sequences is natural numbers.so u have to start from 1 & u will get is term 2 & 2nd & 3rd terms are 5 & 10 respectively!!!
