Use equal intervals to make a frequency table for the average number of movies per person. You do not need to show tally marks. Country Average Number of Movies Turkey 0.5 Japan 1.2 UK 1.3 Finland 1.3 Austria 1.5 Germany 1.8 Spain 2.2 Sweden 2.2 Denmark 2.2 Switzerland 2.5 France 2.5 Norway 3.0 Canada 3.0 US 4.5

how many classes you need?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Classes?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

am i thinking of the wrong table?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is for a frequency table maybe there is a different term for classes

OpenStudy (amistre64):

a class is a subinterval of the range ...

http://www.mathsteacher.com.au/year8/ch17_stat/03_freq/Image11656.gif something like this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think thats what I'm looking for, 4.5 - 0.5 means the range is 4 right?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the range is arbitrary, rule of thumb is 5 or more i believe

OpenStudy (amistre64):

0 - .99 1 - 1.99 2 - 2.99 3 - 3.99 4 - 4.99 would be fine for classes

OpenStudy (amistre64):

they even seem to be lined up in order fairly well so counting them is a sinch

OpenStudy (amistre64):

0 - .99 1 1 - 1.99 5 2 - 2.99 5 3 - 3.99 2 4 - 4.99 1

OpenStudy (amistre64):

we can sum up the total as 1+5+5+2+1 = 14, an produce a percentage table if need be but that doesnt seem to be part of the question

WITH OUT THIS I WOULD HAVE FAILD IM THANKING THE GODS
