Find the standard matrix A for the operator T, given that the null space of A is the plane x + y = 0 and T(1; 0; 0) = (1; 1; 0).

OpenStudy (loser66):

the original problem doesn't tell you about the source and the target sets? I mean R^2 ---> R^3 or R^3 --->R^3. I know the target one must be R^3 since your T function has 3 elements. but I am not sure about the source.

OpenStudy (loser66):

it's important because we must find out the matrix, 2--->3 totally different from 3--->3

OpenStudy (loser66):

hey where are you? this topic is my concern, too.
