Why can't you delete messages you send in OS but delete messages you receive from other people?
Idk it weird.
@hartnn or @Directrix
I know i send this long ago, but didn't see no changes...
The feature has not been implemented. Hopefully, it will be implemented in future versions or updates. Maybe you can send the OPENSTUDY team this feature lacking proposition to consider. They can be reached both electronically or through standard mail.
Thanks Dean :)
@Dean.Shyy I think it is meant to be like that and I doubt they might want to add it.
Hey,when i was new here i asked the same Question but it just can't be deleted,If you want that feature maybe request for it :D
Someone had posted a similar proposal because that person sent messages, but wanted them to be deleted for personal reasons.
@Dean.Shyy yeah someone did, but they never thought about it.
Is there some kind of a reason that sent messages can't be deleted. @some_someone why do you think its meant like that?
If a petition can get around, the change can be added. Once set, it can be sent to the OPENSTUDY team or their software coders. Take a look at this: http://is.gd/3ZkZUV
Cause its like your history of what you sent, and maybe the admins don't want the user to have the feature to delete the messages you sent cause maybe you might have sent things that are against CoC, but I do not know and i am not sure :) You might want to ask an Admin.
@Dean.Shyy thats preety cool :)
@Ced101 why do you want to delete them in the first place?
If it is against CoC, the delete feature for sent messages would be even better. Don't you think? That means the person who sent the messages know they were wrong, so it would have been ideal to delete them.
@Dean.Shyy like i said I DONT KNOW AND I AM NOT SURE, it was just an assumption geesh.
What if you chat with someone and talk about personal stuff, and want to delete it but you can't. I was curious about how can you delete messages sent from other people but sent messages can't be deleted, how and why, i just want the answer?
Well you might delete it in your perspective, but i dont think it would be deleted for the other user.
And I dont think it was a good idea talking about personal stuff, but ITS JUST MY OPINION, and its not my concern. So good luck :)
