I have a table with the x-values as: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. My y-values are: 266, 133, 66.5, 33.25, 16.625, 8.3125, 4.15625, 2.078125. I would like to know what increments should I use on my graph.

use an increment of x = 1 (since each x value is increasing by 1) for y, use an increment of 20 or 50. You want to make sure you see every y value, and because you have a number as small as 2.078125 and a number as large as 266, these large increments are a good way to see everything

Thank you
