OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):

write an equation in standard form for a line with a slope of 0 and x-intercept of 0

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Which part of this do you not get?

OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):

what the equation would be

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Well, if the slope is 0, there is no change in the slope. Right? So what does that do to Ax+By=c?

OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):

it makes Ax =0 is that right

OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):

so it would be y=0?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Yah, becaue if you thnk about y=mx+b, the m=0, so the x would be 0ed out.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

And yah, if it goes through x=0, it would be y=0. So really not much to it.

OpenStudy (softballgirl372015):

okay thank you!

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Have fun!
