ADD COMMON TERMS 
$$7x^2 = 35 $$
SUBTRACT 35 FROM BOTH SIDES
$$7x^2 - 35 = 0$$
FACTOR OUR A 7
$$7(x^2 - 5) = 0$$

okaii do you know had to add? 
since the 3^2 AND 4x^2 are common terms just add 
$$3x^2 + 4x^2 = 7x^2$$

The ^ means "to the"' is the same as writing exponents or those little 2's in the right hand corner.
