What is 5.07179677 in simplest radical format?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Uuuuh.... that has been done in a calculator so it is no longer a root. Hard to get the simpelest radical going that way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The equation was 12-4√3 if that helps

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

OK... huh. That already looks like a simple radical. Can't get more out of root 3.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Unless you were to look at making the 12 into some sort of radical form so they could be combined.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok! Thanks for the help!

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

But changig the 12 makes no sense, so yah, I think you had it simple. Simplest radical means simplifying the radical part, so that had been done.
