What is the domain of the following function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Are there ANY Real Numbers that do not contribute to the graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

options are: A. All Real Numbers B. x ≥ 1 C. x ≥ -1 D. x ≤ 3

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

OK. Now, answer my question and you will be done.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i fell way behind in math, what exactly are you asking?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

If you pick x = 0, will you get a point on that graph? If you pick x = 1, will you get a point on that graph? If you pick x = 7, will you get a point on that graph? If you pick x = -12, will you get a point on that graph? Ask this question over and over and over until you have asked it of ALL Real Numbers! Of course, I am kidding, but this is the idea. What values for x lead to a point on the graph? Are there ANY Real Numbers that don't contribute?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nevermind i got it covered, sorry for wasting your time.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

?? The Domain also has all Real Numbers covered.

i answered the question and was right, i don't need help anymore.
