If your forcing yourself to throw up it is an eating disorder called bulimia. This isn't good for your body at all. Your causing stomach acid to come up, which erodes enamel from your teeth, damages your esophagus, possibly causing ulcers, dehydration, electrolyte imbalances (this can cause your kidneys to fail, diarrhea, or sweating problems) and it can actually cause you to have a heart attack because you are causing an irregular heartbeat. As for being skinny, being skinny isn't everything. I used to freak out about it too, but then I realize people don't care what you necessarily look like - they like you for your personality & mind. I maintain my weight between 130 and 150 depending on the time of the year. If you eat fresh fruits and veggies, drink lots of water, and eat lean meats such as fish & chicken with the fat cut off of it. On the days you don't eat, your stomach acid has nothing to digest so it eats away at the lining of your stomach. I'm not a nutritionist, but I have had enough schooling about the human body for my nursing degree.

Eating once a day means that you are eating less than the recommended daily calories, which will also cause malnutrition. This will then cause diseases of all forms due to vitamin and mineral deficiency. If you only eat once a day and you decide to throw up after eating more than one meal a day, that will be very unhealthy.

The answer to both of your questions is "yes." If we only eat a normal-sized portion of food, once a day, that would be unhealthy for our bodies. I eat once a day sometimes. But I eat these HUGE frikkin meals. That's unhealthy too. But it's better than eating just a normal-sized portion, once a day. You know what I mean?
