cellulose has a \(\beta (1 \rightarrow 4) \) ester linkage. And since you're looking for a decomposition reaction, all you're doing is breaking cellulose into it's more simpler structure, glucose (by which I mean, breaking the \(\ (1 \rightarrow 4) \) linkage.
