If the period of a wave is 0.05 s, then what is its frequency? 0.05 Hz 2.0 Hz 10 Hz 20 Hz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Frequency , f = 1/ period , T 1 / 0.05 F = 20Hz ! hope you understand it next time you attempt those type of questions

thanks so much :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

don't forget : v =f lambda sometimes you might use that also ... they give you period suppose 0.05 s and lambda= 50 mm and find v .. that is speed so : v = lambda divide by time period T = ( dont forget to put lambda in metres

thanks now i can answer the similar questions
