OpenStudy (bbb911):

what i did was add 50 and 50 then added 94 and 94 but i think its wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. thats good. that is your perimeter P what they are asking for is the ratio of P to width just divide the numbers like above!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry ratio of width to perimeter so, \[{w\over p}={50\over \text{that what you've got}}=?\]

OpenStudy (bbb911):

so i get 288 right when all of them are added up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep. thats your "p" now find the ratio

OpenStudy (bbb911):

okay since it is my perimeter how do i get the ratio i know the above says w over p so do i divided the length or width my 288

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no just this: width divided by the perimeter this is also said as "ratio" of width to perimeter

OpenStudy (bbb911):

so i divide width by perimeter and since the width is 50 i will divide 288 to 50 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they are specifically asking for "width" so, you do not have a choice ... :/ width / perimeter

OpenStudy (bbb911):

will it come up to 5 38/50?
