|dw:1365273349883:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you were not given the radius right???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was the arc length you were given

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[A _{L}=\frac{ n ^{0} }{ 360^{0} } \times 2\pi r\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is a simpler formula than the previous one i posted....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

using this formula, substitute your arc length and the angle to find your radius.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so A1=72/360*2pie^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.....and your Al (which is the arc length) is 10.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then 10=0.075*2pie^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or is that supposta be 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

instead of 0.075
