¿Qué necesitas para la clase de español? (indicate four classroom objects; make sure to include the indefinite articles) I'm using the words: pencil, notebook, dictionary and eraser.

First, let's talk about "Indefinite Articles," because the directions say that we need to use them. Indefinite Articles are words that mean A and AN. In Spanish, some Indefinite Articles can also mean SOME. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Here's a list of all the Spanish Indefinite Articles: UN (singular/masculine) UNA (singular/feminine) UNOS (plural/masculine) UNAS (plural/feminine) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are only four indefinite articles, in Spanish. We use always the one that matches with the noun. For example, the Spanish word for "pencil" is "lápiz." Since "lápiz" is a SINGULAR and MASCULINE noun, we would have to say "UN lápiz." You get it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now, the directions ask us to list things that we need, for class. We have to write sentences, in order to answer the question. We would always start our sentences with "NECESITO," because it means "I need." For example....(and this is JUST an example sentence) ... "Necesito una mochila." "I need a backpack." See? It's that simple. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, all we have to do is..... 1. Start with "Necesito" 2. Use the correct Indefinite Article, from the list I showed you 3. Use the Spanish word of the object you're talking about. (Like "lápiz.")

Okay, thank you so much! I'm doing virtual schooling and have to teach myself everything, I just have no hope in Spanish. The notes the instructor gives doesn't help much. But this did. (:

De nada. Learning new languages online is challenging, I understand. After we learn about how to make sentences though, it gets much easier, really fast. If you have anymore questions, don't hesitate to ask.
