On graph paper or using a drawing program, such as GeoGebra, plot three points on the coordinate plane. Label each point with a letter and its corresponding ordered pair. Draw segments between the points to form a triangle. Use the midpoint formula to find and plot the midpoint of each segment. You must show your work. Draw the three medians of the triangle. Draw the centroid – the point of intersection between all three medians. Estimate the ordered pair of the centroid ------------------------------------------ SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! I NEED TO FINISH THIS TONIGHT! I SUCKKK IN M
Okay you can put in the points in WolframAlpha like (x,y),(x,y) etc to see the graph.
I know its ALOT to ask for.. but I am CLUELESS :/

?
1. Go to www.wolframalpha.com 2. Type your points you need to plot into the search bar
Or just tell me the points
do I just give you any random #?
I dont have any specific points... can you make them up?
Oh okay you need to make some points up. Let's see...
Okay you should choose points that are easy. Try using (10, 1) and (1, 13). Then the sides will be 9 and 12 units, and the hyp will be 13 units, and you just use the midpoint formula to calculate the midpoint of the hypotenuse.
o.0
And of course the midpoint of each side will be just (x' - x)/2 and (y' - y)/2 where y' = 13, y = 1, x' = 10, x = 1
I neit actually graphed out... lol

How many medians are needed to find the centroid? Why? How did the distance formula help you determine if the triangle is scalene, isosceles, or equilateral?
i wish i could help you. im really bad at math.
Ya so am I.... Im suprised Im passing... (by a little though) >.<
ahah yeah im passing too xP. goodluck with this question tho.

The centroid is the geometric centre of the triangle, and you can find it by drawing a line that: 1. Starts at the vertex of each angle 2. Bisects each line and it will also bisect the angle as well. However, you only need TWO lines to find the centroid.
And that is because the lines cross at the same point.
OMG THANK YOU!!
