hi there! stuck on the final answer for this problem. . . i need to find the actual whole number ration of iron vs copper when the experimental is 2.826 (iron) and 1 (copper). Can i round to 3 to give it 3:1??

OpenStudy (aaronq):

what experiment did you do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

iron nails in 1M CuCl2•2H20 giving an hour for reactant time. . . i really just need to know if rounding up to 3 from 2.826 is acceptable or not

OpenStudy (aaronq):

it's about 6% of the total mass.. so i think it'd be fine, but then again I'm not your teacher

OpenStudy (aaronq):

sorry i said mass and i meant moles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks! :)
