How did you first find OpenStudy?
I was looking at Calculus texts by Paul Dawkins and saw the attached image on the left margin. http://www.openculture.com/free_textbooks http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/CalcI/CalcI.aspx
I found OpenStudy because i felt lazy!! :P i had an integral at hand to solve, a lengthy one, but at that moment, i didn't quite feel to solve it myself. So i asked it in various forums on internet. OpenStudy was the first site which helped me solve it, answered by @UnkleRhaukus with all my doubts cleared. I liked OpenStudy right away. :D
Hmm I saw it by a Google search ;) The question I clicked on wasn't what I wanted, but I asked my question on here and it worked great :) @Hero helped me right away.
I found it funny he had a "I hate math" profile picture ;)
Google search. :)

I was looking for an explanation to a question, i had the answer, but I couldn't get why the answer. @dpaInc helped me :)
Found it the same way as @Directrix but I was on a biology website :P
Imported from @bmp "That's cool. I've heard of OS when I was at the MIT OpenCourseware and have been around here since then. Also there's a large online compendium of links and bibliography at https://sites.google.com/site/scienceandmathguide/ :) I use it a lot too."
From google search :)
I found it by ascendant. I was looking up a history project and I clicked the link that said 'open study' because I thought it would be a useful place for information. I got to say, it was one of my best ascendants.⌒▽⌒

Google search. I saw many questions similar to mine asked by other users, and excellent one-on-one help. So decided to become a member. I was stuck on Algebra, radicals, and the first to help was Lgba. (:
I think it is cool that so many of you remember the first OpenStudier who helped you.

I found it through MIT OpenCourseWare. I made an account and forgot about it for six months. Then I had some time to kill, clicked on one of the weekly/monthly OpenStudy newsletters I got, made a new account (this one) because I forgot my initial username and was hooked.
I wonder how Preetha found it...

I like Rajath's comment. There is a story behind how OS came to be and I'll share it one moonlit night, by the campfire, over smoked marshmallows... the wind going "woooooo"!
Google.
