what is the volume of a wading pool 12 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 6 inches deep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

v = l x w x h v = 12 x 6 x 6 your units are cubed since volume is measuring a 3 dimensional object.

To amend that sschuler, remember that 6 in = 0.5 feet.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry didn't see the inches. I apologize to both Rav and mmluis94

You might need some sleep, sschuler... I'm not sure 6/36 = 0.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sschuler so its right how u did it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but you have to convert the 6 inches to feet to 0.5 so its 12 x 6 x 0.5 and your units would be cubed it would be 36 in ^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you
