OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me @amiliver @Hoa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathstudent55

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why do you think it's b?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait no it would be a because the mean is the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if the mean is the same the standard deviation would be also the same right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

new mean\[\mu'=2\times31.25=?\\ \sigma'=\sqrt{{1\over N}\sum(2x-2\mu)^2}=2\sigma \]so, the std. dev also doubles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@natalia517 kapeesh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if its doubled would it just be 34.034

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@electrokid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okkkkayy gotcha. so it was kind of a trick queation because everything was doubled basically

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep
