|dw:1365373476751:dw| Homologous chromosomes appear as two chromosomes that are of the same length, and centromere positon. They will also contain genes controlling the same inherited characters. Sister chromatids are two copies of a duplicated chromosome atached to eachother at the centromere; when attached, two chromotids make up one chromosome.
