Given the following triangle, solve for side YZ. ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's a right angle triangle so wat r the first two things that pop into ur head? :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the formula lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which formula do we use for that ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wat r the two formulas? :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a^2 + b^2 = c^2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's one, wat's the other formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you didnt tell me lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-_- yes i did! the first one is pythagromus theorem which is wat u just said and the other is trigonometry and the formula for it is SohCahToa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhhh yeahh you did sorry to many words i just need to see how you solve it step by step not to many words it confuses me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now, when an angle is given or ur trying to solve for an angle then u use trigonometry but if all ur given r sides then u use pythagromus theorem, understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill try :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you thank you :) i need to do this fast its almost due ! :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u understand wat i just said?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
