3/1-x=4/1+x solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 3 4 --- = --- x-1 1 + x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry 1-x

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

Well 3/1 can be taken as just 3 and 4/1 can also just be taken as 4 soo.. 3-x=4+x Solve from there Add the x to both sides 3-x+x=4+x+x 3=4 + 2x Subtract 4 from both sides 3-4=4-4+2x -1=2x Divide by 2 on both sides -1/2=2x/2 -1/2=x And there ya go!
