Just wanted someone to check my work for this, because the question seems like it is too simple... "A water canal has a rectangular cross section 3 meters wide and 2 meters deep. How much water is contained in a 30-meter length of the canal? How much water does it hold after 60% of the water has evaporated?" volume = lwh volume = (30)(3)(2) = 180 m^3 60% of 180 = 108 180 - 108 = 72m^3 Is that all?

Looks right to me.
